“NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.. If I could give this hotel negative stars I would. As a frequent visitor to the Dominican Republic I booked this hotel for 4 days with my wife with the expectation of repeating the enjoyment of our typical Dominican vacations. However in very short time we along with many others long list of complaints. To start of the check-in process was daunting. The crew at the front desk were not very organized not to mention unprofessional. Luckily we over came the language barrier as we both speak Spanish however it caused many delays for others. After a few minutes the front desk was able to find our reservations and directed us the the "Premium lounge" as we had paid EXTRA for a premium experience. Though the bartenders in the lounge were able to keep us entertained, the fast talking salesmen who do not take no for an answer became a nuisance immediately. There was no urgency from the check-in crew and before we knew it 2.5 hours had elapsed without being assigned a room. Finally we were approached by a representative that issued us an envelope with our room number scribbled on the outside and promptly sent us on our way with no explanation of the layout of the resort, where or when to eat, or how to schedule our covid test to return home. Upon arrival to our room it became apparent that the pictures used to advertise the room on the website did not match the room that we were in. We paid extra for a premium ocean view room but instead were greeted with the view and repulsive odor of an adjacent alleyway. The final straw was the food.... steer clear of the buffet. There were limited options and the food that was presented was definitely subpar to anything we have ever had while visiting the DR.”

“Las dos estrellas son exclusivamente para los responsables del hotel. Disponen de un equipo de trabajo excelente, desde animación, cocina, mantenimiento, limpieza, etc. Pero se sobreentiende que no pretenden invertir en el mantenimiento o renovación de las habitaciones. En mi estadía de 7 noches me tuvieron que cambiar 4 veces de habitación, dos no tenían agua caliente, una no tenía aire acondicionado, la otra llovía el techo sobre la cama y la última tenía problemas para que el agua saliera. Invito a los responsables a aprovechar su equipo de trabajo y sumarse al trabajo que ellos hacen día a día para dar un servicio de calidad.”
