“They set us up with a second floor room, but they have no elevators and we, being elderly, would have found that difficult. So we asked if there was a ground-level room available. They set us up with one, but on entering the bathroom door was oddly in the way of the entry door. The TV was on, and the room smelled heavily of alcohol and was already occupied. We gracefully backed out and closed the door. The occupant made no sounds at all, despite our noisy entry. We informed the office and suggested they might do a welfare check on the occupant. They apologized and set us up with an upgrade to a bungalow. The rooms are dated but clean. The heating/cooling worked flawlessly. We did not get the breakfast, as we made an early rise and start on our return home because snow was threatening our progress in the southern Oregon passes. We DO hope the gentleman in the occupied room was okay.
